Le Parcours de Mina - interactive story

2023

In early 2022, the non-profit organization L’Ilot published a study revealing that the number of homeless or inadequately housed women is grossly underestimated, and that the services on offer are not adapted to them, even though they suffer more violence than their male counterparts.

As a result, the association has created “a day center by and for homeless women”: the Circé de L’Ilot Day Center, opening in September 2023.

On this occasion, and in order to help a wider audience discover what these women go through, L’Ilot launched the idea of a “game in which you are the heroine”, a story in which you have to make choices, embodying for a few minutes this woman and what she is confronted with.

The first episode is Mina’s Journey. Mina has left Morocco with her three children to join her husband in Belgium, but he turns violent after a few months. Fearing for her life and that of her children, Mina flees the marital home and finds herself out on the street, without a home, without money, without knowing the language… It’s up to you!
