The needs
With a presence in 11 countries, serving customers in 15 languages, Artexis Easyfairs was looking for a robust, simple, scalable and flexible solution for their online presence. But the company was facing some internal disorder :
- A lack of common vision on priorities for the project
- An unsatisfactory way of collaborating between the members of different teams
- Poor identification of the obstacles to be overcome
- Inefficient management of resources (time, budget, skills)
The solution
The "Agile Enterprise" approach has paved the way.
Tired of the lack of responsiveness of big agencies, Artexis Easyfairs opted for a small internal team to manage their website. We allowed them to regain control of all development processes. And they became more "agile".
This very ambitious project was completed within a realistic budget, even allowing the company to very quickly recoup its investment thanks to the significant increase in online sales of stands and promotional packs.
The sprints lasted 4 weeks, after which new projects or parts of projects (e-shops, booking modules, full management plans, ...) were developed.
The role of the coach from Spade was to conduct meetings, to structure the schedule and ensure good cohesion between the different teams. A first step was to identify the context and then mark out the terrain methodologically. The external coach (Spade) plays a neutral role in order to smooth over any conflicts or problems that teams may encounter. The coach meets the team, organises planning sessions and oversees the results. The work of each of the parties involved will be respected, thus facilitating the success of the project!
